During the last weekend in February a "foodie's" dream takes place in one of the most popular hotspots in the US: South Beach, Florida. The Food Network South Beach Wine and Food Festival will be celebrating it's tenth year in 2011, (the Food Network partnered with the festival five years ago), and has grown from a local festival of a few thousand, to a showcase for celebrity chefs and Food Network Stars hosting over 50,000 visitors and raising over two million dollars for Florida International University's School of Hospitality and Tourism Management in 2010 alone.

Tasting Village Features Celebrity Chefs

The 2011 festival runs from Thursday February 24th through Sunday February 27th and consists of forty-one events ranging from wine seminars and gourmet food tastings to family events (Kidz Kitchen workshops). The ultimate for many though is the Whole Foods Market Grand Tasting Village.
